Ali Nickerson is a NSCAD graduate and currently living in Halifax. Her works are conceptually based narratives, exploring and confronting fears and inhibitions. They play with the disparity between the imagined and the actual. From these personal and universally known fears she creates intricate outlandish and fanciful worlds. Ali has exhibited her work at the Biennial Contemporary Textiles of Canadian Fiber Art at Cambridge Galleries and galleries in Calgary, Montreal and The Maritimes.
